This 2nd blog will be dedicated to only my University project progress, and how I am keeping up with my pre-planned schedule. This is my final year of University, so I am a level 6 student, I am studying BSc Computer Games Design at Stafford University, and this is now my 5th year on this level due to being occupied/taking multiple "years out" to be a full time carer. But now I'm back! and I'm a part time student! this semester I will be focusing on 2 modules (while being a full time carer), one of these modules will be my research dissertation, where I plan to re-make the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the other modules is Audio for Games, something I have no prior experience with. luckily for me, I can do all my Uni work without having the need to go into University, between e-mailing my lecturers and Google hangout to attend the lectures, I never ever need to leave the house (anti-social, I know).

While doing all this and being a full time carer (fyi, it's a 10-12 hours a day job, 7 days a week, all year long, no holiday), I also need to finish building my site without spending a penny (all done by me, reverse engineering others code, because I'm a cheapskate bastard), build a portfolio (kinda goes hand in hand with doing work for uni, but also need to make some more personal projects), and lastly, finish Mash On Pad Logo and animation for a friend! (hope he's not mad that I'm taking so long). The next 6 months will end up being amazing and fun, or flat out kills me!

Mini Biography

Picture
My name is Omar Hebshi, I also go by the alias Maxram0, and I am an aspiring 3D artist.

I am currently a part-time worker, part-time carer, a husband, a chef, a collector of figurine, and a full-time student (at least, as much as I can). I focus on self-improving my 3D skills, principles, and disciplines, as well as experimenting in shader and game engines.

Life is a journey of constant learning and developing, and I wish to spend that time learning and developing my skill in the area that provided me with the most joy and wonder in my youth, video games, art, and being creative! So in return, I can provide others with the same joy and wonder I once had, and inspire them to be creative and expressive themselves to the best of their ability.

I'm an artist, a gamer, a fan of anime, manga, light novels, books, comics, movies, and many other mediums of entertainment and escapism.

Playing With Polygon

Playing with polygon is a name born from my lowest point, it was the words I would say when I don’t wish to acknowledge the thing I was doing was 3D work, because I enjoyed the fun and discovery of just playing in the 3rd dimension. Now I use it as a reminder of why I love doing what I love, it is my proof of the perseverance in the hardest of times, physically and emotionally.

I plan to transform these words into a brand in the future, that provides artworks, tutorials, and architectural visualisations.
